Albany, New York Workshop , March 10-11

We are coming down to the wire on the March 10-11 Step Junkie workshops in Albany, New York!!   There are still some spaces available if you would like to join us.  We will be discussing every aspect of teaching a professional-level Step class, and we'll be creating and breaking down a lot of choreography on the spot!!   I try to send all participants home with a bunch of new choreography that they can immediately use in their Step classes, and we video our choreography so we don't forget what we did! 

On Sunday, we'll be going into great detail on my breakdown method, and I'll lead a Step master class for the workshop participants.

Alabama Workshop in April

I'm happy to announce that registration is OPEN now for my April 21-22 workshop in Athens, Alabama, which is in the Huntsville area.  I'm debuting a new workshop that weekend, "Resurrecting Freestyle Step," where we will discuss how to bring back a thriving Step program at gyms where the Step program has dwindled or been eliminated.  I'm also going to be teaching my very comprehensive workshop, "Step Junkie's Secrets for Teaching Step" where we will talk about everything an instructor needs to know to teach a top-notch Step class.

Hackensack, NJ Workshop, Jan 28-29, 2012

If you are interested in joining me at the Hackensack, New Jersey workshop on January 28-29, 2012, please be sure to register soon to get the best rates.  Early Bird rates end on December 31 (just 3 weeks from now).  Saturday's workshop ("Break It Down Like a Pro") starts at 3:00 p.m., and and delves deep into the details of providing a professional-level breakdown. This will be followed by the Step Master class at 7:15 p.m.  The Step Master Class is open to everyone for a $10.00 admission.

Sunday's workshop is "Step Junkie's Secrets for Teaching Step."  This comprehensive workshop provides instruction on all aspects of teaching Step, including cueing, developing interesting choreography, breakdowns, music, etc.

For Washington, DC area Steppers!

If you live within the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and would like to take a Step class with me, please consider coming to my master class on December 2, 7:00 p.m. at the Loudoun County Life Time Fitness facility.  They are hosting two master classes that evening:  an Operation Rapid Response Boot Camp master class with Sgt. Ken Weichert at 5:30 p.m., and a Step master class with me at 7:00 p.m.  There is a cost for the master classes, payable at the door.  The master classes are open to anyone -- not just Life Time members!

Oklahoma City Step Workshop is OPEN!!

Hello to all!

I've returned from a fantastic weekend workshop in Moscow, Idaho (beautiful country, lovely people!), and am still riding the high from that trip!!   I could not imagine a more enjoyable weekend. 

And now, I have updated my website to announce the opening of registration for the Oklahoma City workshop to be held on February 11-12, 2012, at All-American Fitness Center on NW Expressway Street.  I've put the Early Bird pricing into effect until January 10, 2012.
